Fireplace Remote Control and Receiver with Basic On/Off Function Kit Overview

This basic on/off remote control system provides a safe, reliable, and user-friendly remote control for millivolt valve gas appliances. It is a direct replacement for SKYTECH, Ambient fireplace, Majestic Fireplaces, Monessen Fireplaces, Vermont Castings Fireplaces and Stoves. The system can be manually turned on and off with the transmitter.

Receiver Overview The receiver connects to any standard millivolt gas valve system and features easy access to the battery compartment with a sliding battery cover. It is pre-programmed for quick installation - simply connect the two terminals to the TH and TH/TP terminals of the millivolt valve, install the batteries, and it's ready to use. The receiver has a learn button for pairing with the remote.

Remote Overview This wireless on/off remote control system is designed for use with a millivolt or 24V gas valve system. It provides a safe, reliable, and user-friendly remote control for millivolt valve gas appliances. The remote has dip switches to set your own security code.

Important Information Do not use this remote-control system on applications with voltages above 24 Volts AC/DC and 1 amp current. The remote receiver should be kept away from temperatures exceeding 130°F. Always check the appliance owner's manual for additional information or warnings regarding accessory installation before connecting this remote control system. Do not short (or jumper) across the gas valve terminals to test the remote control installation.

Learning Transmitter to Receiver The remote privacy (DIP) switches are preset at the factory. To learn the transmitter to the receiver: 1. Put the receiver slide switch to the "REMOTE" location. Using a small screwdriver or paper clip, press and hold the 'LEARN' button on the receiver until you hear 3 beep sounds. 2. After the receiver emits 3 beep sounds, press the transmitter "ON" or "OFF" button and release it immediately. The receiver will emit several beeps, indicating that the transmitter's code has been accepted. Note: If the matching fails on the first attempt, please repeat steps 1-2.
