To use the Gas Fireplace Remote Switch System Kit, follow these steps: 1. The transmitter privacy (DIP) switch is preset at the factory. 2. Place the receiver slide switch in the "RS" position, press and hold the "LEARN" button to accept the transmitter security code on first use, and the receiver will emit three "beeps" when the "LEARN" button is released. 3. After the receiver has emitted the three "beeps", press the transmitter "ON" or "OFF" button and immediately release it, the receiver will emit several "beeps" to indicate that the receiver has accepted the transmitter code.

The gas fireplace remote control system kit is designed for use with a millivolt or 24V gas valve system. It requires two (2) "AAA" and four (4) "AA" alkaline batteries to power the transmitter and receiver. The remote should be installed away from temperatures exceeding 130°F.
